What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, mobile number if you give it, state, business name and ABN if you give them, and the product details and files you send. If you email us or send a WhatsApp message, we keep that correspondence.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotations.
To share product specifications with suppliers in Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates when you ask us to source a product. We share only what the supplier needs to quote or produce, not your contact details unless you agree.
To prepare export documents for goods you order.
To keep records required by law.

We do not sell your information or add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Spam protection

Our enquiry form records your IP address in a coded form for a short time to limit repeated submissions. If optional Cloudflare Turnstile is switched on, Cloudflare processes basic browser signals to tell people from bots.

Skipper, our chat assistant

Skipper answers common questions in your browser. If our AI answers are switched on, the questions you type into Skipper are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write a reply, and may be processed outside Australia. Please don’t type personal or confidential details into the chat; email us instead.

Fonts and your browser

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and basic browser details when you visit. Your browser keeps your light or dark theme choice, and any product details passed from one of our pages to the quote form, on your own device. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Storage and security

Enquiries are delivered to our business email and a backup copy is kept on our web host. We take reasonable steps to protect your information and delete enquiries we no longer need.

Access and correction

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@solvantaunlimited.com. If you are unhappy with how we handled a privacy matter, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
